For all you naysayers out there, an update. I flew CX on Feb. 26 LAX-HKG in J on an award ticket and did not receive a female amenity kit as they didn't load enough on to the flight. I contacted someone in customer service in Hong Kong and requested one. The nice lady said she'd send it. Two weeks later FedEx delivered a CX female amenity kit to my home. CX came through for a customer, no matter how I got the ticket and how many times I've flown with them. All of you who said I would not receive the kit, you were wrong.

I am also very happy. It wasn't about the value of the kit.

I think if I remember correctly it was that the OP didn't receive an amenity kit on her flight and asked the question about how she might go about getting one post flight.
Some of the responses were less than complimentary - saying that it was not worth the while, or why would anyone bother when you could just go buy the stuff yourself, etc etc
And indeed there was even another thread which in part mocked the whole situation.
The issue was, that for whatever reason, the kit was not delivered and it was something that was wanted. As it turns out, CX was more than happy to send a kit to the OP and good on her for that!
It's not necessarily the value of the kit that matters.

Good for you, Susiesan. Ignore the naysayers and those who snicker. You stood up for what you thought you were entitled to and were successful. Congratulations!!!

I think the principle involved was "I was jipped of some dermalogica".

I have brushed once or twice since then...
The kit had 2 different 3 oz types of Dermalogica cream/lotions and a small lip balm. The other items were the same as in the men's kit. It was ehat I was expecting and finally got.
