Definition of "no show"

Hi there,

Hope I'm posting this at the right forum.

I wonder what does "No Show" actually mean to an airline, in particular CX and QR.

For example, for something to not classify as a No Show but rather a Cancellation/Change of date, when is usually the latest time for me to contact the airline?

Thanks for any advice!

I am not sure whether this topic belongs to this thread.

Anyway, you should ask the airlines involved. For CX, I made changes up to a few hours prior to departure of the orginal flight before, but I do not know what the latest time is. If you have not done OLCI, it should probably be when check-in closes for that flight. If you have done OLCI, I think it is one hour before departure, but may also depend on the airport. If you wait until the last moment and cannot get through to an agent to make the request in time, that will be your problem.
