CX Route Map
Is there a better route map (or tool) to use to view CX metal only routes?
----I'm using BA miles redemption on CX metal only (to not violate their cheaper single-airline only award fare) and trying to figure out all possible routes/stopovers with CX, since BA's FF program pretty much allows unlimited stopovers.
This one on their website isn't as helpful as i would like it to be:
http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_...l/destinations
For example from the above route map I can't even tell which all cities in the U.S fly to Asia or where all they land. (I can't tell if they land in other places than HKG) that originate from the U.S. And i can't tell which cities from Asia I can fly back to the U.S from on CX metal.
It would be great to find an open end search tool where i can search like Seoul->XXX. Meaning, all the places they fly out to from Seoul on their own CX only metal. Planning a SE Asia trip for about 8 weeks in duration and I can't see what the possible route/stopovers are that i can use, as i would like to make as many creative stops as possible.
I wonder why they don't get one of those handy route maps like JL Airlines has where you hover over the city and lines draw to every possible option you can fly to.

as mr. Cockroach points out...as i recall you only get one each way on BA miles...unless you can swing a late arrival and take the next flight out in the am...although many of the flights to NA seem to go out at silly late hours that this is getting harder and harder...
you can use the oneworld map....and tru it up with CX's

But from memory I think most flights to the US are non-stop to HKG (and inaddition to non-stop, via Vancouver in the case of JFK).
It's not the same case as SQ which, I think because of range issues, flies via Soeul and Tokyo to the states.
Most of the CX routes that don't originate in HK are those from TPE (to NRT), and BKK (to SIN, India and beyond, such as Dubai). Otherwise everything else will be USA-HKG then anywhere you want to go.
