Decrease in HKG-TPE flights

It is now some time since direct flights between the Mainland and Taiwan have been introduced.

Does anyone have statistics on how many HKG-TPE flights per week have been cut?

Thanks.

Summer 08, there were 15.5 daily CX flights + KA's 4 daily = 19.5 daily

I believe now (Winter 09), there are only 11.5 CX daily + KA's 4 daily = 15.5 daily.

So a net reduction of 4 daily flights.

i haven't been affected on my recent HKG-TPE flights on CX/KA.

but what happens it my flight is cancelled? do i get put onto another CX/KA flight? does this mean that it'll be in my best interests to get to the airport earlier, so that i can go an earlier flight if my flight ends up being cancelled?

if they gonna cancel the flight (advance or expected to), they should / will contact the passengers and offer them options, such as earlier or later flights, sometimes they might even put you on to a different airline.
