Help with a transfer in HKG
Hi guys,
I am flying JFK-HKG-WNZ today. The JFK-HKG is CX, but HKG-WNZ is MU. My TA says that's no problem, however, at JFK today they can check my luggage all the way to WNZ, but they can't print out a boarding pass for WNZ on behave of MU, therefore, they told me to get a boarding pass from MU in HKG.
My question is: do I need to get out of custom to do that, or are there any area that specifically do this? Or can I just go to the MU departure gate and ask for a boarding pass there?
Thanks in advance.

You can go to a CX transfer desk between your arrival gate and Customs; their locations are shown on the terminal diagram in the inflight magazine. The transfer desk will be able to issue your onward BP, which you will need to proceed through security and upstairs into the departures hall. No need to exit to landside.

Yes - the MU desk not the CX one. They have two desk, at the E1 and W1 transfer areas.

Quite right -- I stand corrected. But if the OP missed the clarification I'm sure the CX ground staff will put him right.
