The local airlines probably fly under the radar.
you can find the names of the airlines and search their sites here:
http://www.curacao-airport.com/departures.php
the schedule probably only changes when one of the airlines goes under.
make certain you get a confirmed reserved seat, and call to reconfirm. unless things have changed since the last time i did it(curacao-bonaire-curacao)

Is this the only airline that flies these services? How safe/reliable are they? Why does LIAT only fly to Curacao and not Aruba/Bonaire?

Thanks! I would have thought AUA was the largest/busiest, interesting. Has anyone used the Business Class lounge at AUA when traveling to BON or CUR? I will have a long layover and wanted to use my Priority Pass access to use the Internet and maybe have a drink.
Similar feedback on the Plesman Lounge at CUR is also appreciated.

We use the lounge every year. No alcoholic beverages are served and it is just snacks. Never saw a computer in there - just a TV and comfortable chairs. In years past DH would bring some vodka from our place and make me drinks in the lounge but now, of course, you can't get drink through. There is a little bar down the way that has good drinks and good hotdogs. I usually go down there and, although they say not, bring it back in. As to flights to Curacao - they will be releasing the 2009 schedule tomorrow. Linda

Interesting that alcoholic drinks are not served. First lounge Ive seen that in anywhere in the world with the exception of Muslim countries!

I have a question for those familiar with AUA airport. I booked a flight on DAE from Curacao to AUA where I will make an international connection to DL's ATL flight. I have 1:10 minutes of connection time from my arrival from Curacao to departure on DL. Will I be able to make an airside transfer and get my boarding pass at a transfer desk or will I have to leave the airside area and check in with the normal ticketing desk. Im worried there will not be enough time.

Thanks! How late to airline check-in counters stay open? I assumed they would close one hour before the flight.

I'm here in Aruba so I'll try to call Delta on their local number. While it is correct that the airport is small it is also cumbersome depending on the number of flights, people, etc. Delta and DAE are in different terminals (almost side by side but a little hike - it goes looking straight on US Departures, US Arrivals, area to go into those planes and then Int'l which includes DAE) and after getting your boarding pass you give your passport & BP to a gent outside then go in and get info stamped then go through security, then pick up your luggage and take it to be loaded on plane and then go through security again. We clear US customs in Aruba and I guess you would as well? I'll be back on after I get through to Delta (they are busy right now).
