Dominican Republic entry forms - timing
Flying USA-DR in a couple of months on United. Novice here. Unclear to me whether the entry forms must be uploaded no later than 72 hours before arrival, or you should upload them only up to 72 hours before.
United’s ambiguous language reads:
You’re required to submit forms closer to your travel date. Please check back soon to upload your documents.
And a few rows below…:
You’re required to submit documentation 72 hours before your travel begins. Please check back then to upload your documents.

Hello - I was just in DR going to Punta Cana in Jan of this year. I didn't fill anything out until the GA at the airport (F9 - ORD) told us during the boarding call. We scanned a QR code and filled out some info. When I got to customs, they already had the info and didnt need anything from me other than my passport.
TL;DR - Dont sweat it. Enjoy the trip.

The wording is definitely confusing! It sounds like they want you to submit the forms within 72 hours before your trip, not earlier. To be safe, check the official Dominican Republic entry requirements and United’s portal closer to your departure date. Safe travels! ✈️🌍

I’m going in 20 days and I’ve already done my E form and did that far in advance last time I went too and didn’t have any problem
