BDL to Dominica- Best way to get there?

Not too many options to DOM unfortunately. If you want a single ticket, I think you're limited to AA and their codeshare arrangement with Seaborne through SJU. But that will mean at least two transfers from BDL and probably an overnight. Maybe you could make it in one day if you leave from JFK, not sure.
Alternatively, you could take B6 to SJU and then buy a separate ticket with Seaborne for SJU-DOM-SJU. Not sure if you could make that work in one day.
A final option would be to take LIAT through another island.
We ended up combining the various options for our trip and went IAD-SJU on United, SJU-ANU on Liat (stopover), ANU-DOM on Liat, and then DOM-SJU-MIA-DCA on AA, with an overnight in SJU.
Not easy to get to, but definitely worth it!
