Currency Exchange onboard
Following from www.cdnair.ca
------------------------------------
Coffee, tea, or . . . foreign exchange?
Passengers travelling on our flights between Canada and Japan now have one less thing to worry about before leaving home. Starting January 5th, we introduced an innovative new service called SkyTeller Destination Currency Exchange on all Vancouver-Tokyo and Vancouver-Nagoya flights.
SkyTeller utilizes a handheld computer that allows Flight Attendants to provide destination currency and process duty free sales right at your seat.
And you’ll enjoy the convenience. SkyTeller eliminates long lineups at foreign exchange counters, inconvenient banking hours and language barriers. SkyTeller exchange rates are competitive with those found in banks and foreign exchange kiosks, and you’ll be able to use multiple currencies, traveller’s cheques or credit cards to buy your destination currency. It’s that easy.
SkyTeller will be gradually introduced on other international routes out of Vancouver and Toronto throughout the course of this year.
