Complete Survey and Enter 1 Million Point Contest
Just received a Canadian Plus membership survey form. For completing it they enter you in a contest to win 1 million points (1st prize), 10 prizes of 100 thousand points and 50 prizes of 25,000 points.
You can complete the survey on-line at www.cdnair.ca/survey . I am not sure if this is a secret survey so take advantage of it while you can. I presume this is only open to Canadians? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

It is obviously open to anyone with a Canadian Plus account (maybe even our non-Canadian members--give it a whirl). My daughter entered hers and she does not get mailings (doesn't fly CP anymore) and did not get this mailing. So make sure you enter! I tried entering twice but it says I already have completed the survey. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif
As a test, I tried a bogus number (my Aeroplan) and it spit it back out saying not valid.

May the force be with you http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
Of course I would rather it was a Canadian that won the grand prize (i.e. ME!)
I guess we could always let a foreigner win one of the junior prizes though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Having moved from good old Blighty to Canada by choice, do I count as a foreigner or will you allow me to be a probationary Canuck?

I moved from UK to Canada and they don't consider me a foreigner anymore (on iether side of the pond) so I guess you can retain your citizenship in both too!
Reminds me of the time we took my UK grandmother to the US and my dad told her to mind herself with the immigration people at the border since she was a "foreigner". She angrily replied: "I AM NOT A FOREIGNER--I'M BRITISH!"

BB your Grandmother was of course quite correct, a Britisher abroad is never the foreigner, but invariably all the natives are naturaly foreigners, but nowadays they at least have the decency to speak English, so we don't have to go around shouting as much as we used to. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Back onto subject, it is possible to go to the Canadi>n web site, join up to Canadian Plus on line and then go and complete the survey directly after. Awards can of course be transfered between family members (defined in the rules as legal or common-law spouse regardless of gender, children, grandchildren, parents, step-parents, siblings, in-laws, step-children, nieces and nephews) Children of 2 years of age and older are eligble to become members of Canadian Plus.
So if they all enrolled, and entered, and one of them won, the rewards could be shared amongst the family?????
And if any of us win I think BB should get 10%.
