how many of your ff memberships are comped, since you are in the business??

Believe it or not - NONE !
I got my FF memberships just the same way everybody gets theirs.
FF elite memberships are not comp! They are earned. Invitations to lounges are sometimes given out complimentary to VIPs, CIPs, travel arrangers (secretaries and the like). Travel agencies and consultants can NEVER get elite FF memberships. Why would the airlines do it? These are not the people they are aiming for!
