I saw the headline on the online Province. Nosy me had to read the article to find out which businessman it was. Kind of bizarre. Based on the articles, it seems to pieces together IMO that he likely flipped out when a fling was going to out him. (Is he still married? Read a story that the HMY concept was born out of a delay flying back from Hawaii with his family or something). Who know what reality is tho. Stories seem to evolve quite a bit after initial reports.
As a tangent...Flew HMY once to Vegas. Liked it. Would have flown with them again if they survived. It'd probably be pretty tough to launch something similar again. I think I read an article about Virgin tossing around the idea of setting up shop in Vancouver. I suspect flights would have to be out of Abby tho. Plus, there's some pretty cheap flights out of BLI nowadays with Allegiant and Alaska seemingly trying to capture market share also.
