Networking events in Toronto during March
I plan to spend most, if not all, of march in Toronto. If anyone have any knowledge of good networking events please shout.
I'm fed up with Europe and am actively looking to relocate.
Cheers and thanks in advance

Cheers!
Well watch the AC forum on FT - that is where the post/thread will likely be ... look to it being maybe more (no details or plans really yet) towards the end of March ... would that work for you?

If $1000 can buy me a month in a house or a small condo then I might as well stay for a month and go to as many events as I can.

Yes agree some of the best way to meet new people is to attend a DO. Having said that though, you'll have to refer to PB or Margarita Girl as they're the mastery of such events.

Looked at a tech event calendar I have - saw this: http://www.ice08.com/
Their website is not up to date yet, but you can see what last year's was like at http://www.ice07.com.
Also had a co-worker in our Toronto office a few years back that participated in some future leaders networking group. Not sure if it was this? Looks like the same type of events, though the last event posted is a year old - so not sure how active they still are.
And making an assumption here based on your FF name (Emma) -- met some folks in my travels that run this fitness studio. Also met some of the women who work out there - was really surprised in terms of the career mix - a majority were business professionals or running their own companies. All very fun people (and have met up with a few in Chicago since then). So just throwing it out there (and apologies in advance if you are male or it is not age appropriate!).

Emma is one of my real names but no one calls me that. 65 relates to year born and not years lived. Although sometimes I feel it is the latter. You weren't far off.
:-)
