Quick Shuttle warning

For anyone contemplating taking the Quick Shuttle between SEA and Vancouver, be aware that a new stop has been added at the Seattle Premium Outlet at Tulalip (about 1/2 - 3/4 hr north of DT Seattle). My experience is that stops take up a lot of time, and the offramps to this location can get really backed up some days. The 4:10 trip time between the terminus in Vancouver and SEA has been optimistic for a number of years. I think it's much overly so now with this stop (albeit, like BLI, is by reservation only).

Something I'll have to think about if I'm taking any of the earlier shuttles (I doubt Tul. will be popular at 8pm at night). The time for the later ones is more driven by the pax demographics than anything else due to the border. Mostly a bunch of Canadian/Americans/UK (at least white) - pretty quick through immigration. Other nationalities can really slow things down depending on the immigration officer. Add in any other charters, and the border is the one truly big ? in the timing.

At some point, I might just fly to SEA instead of taking the bus if the time keeps increasing or becomes too unreliable.
