Just returned from Toronto yesterday. The immigration for entering Canada and return to US did ask a lot of questions about the nature of my visit but lines were short so didn't take a long time to go through. I was there around 6PM for arrival at Toronto and was there at 6AM on the day for departure.

Well, I am currently sitting here in the MLL in the International Terminal. I think I am in love...too bad no domestic RCC can live up to these expectations.
I did have to go through regular customs and security after the International Connections/Customs official decided she wouldn't let me through less than 6 hours before my flight. I just went out through the traditional customs area then went upstairs, walked straight to security for the international area and didn't have a problem.
So here I sit for the next four hours. I think I need to go stretch my legs...

Time permitting I often head to the Mediterranean restaurant at the Renaissance hotel on airport road to have a nice dinner before returning my rental. It beats any of the food options in the terminals.
They may have a shuttle to/from the airport.

Both the Domestic and Transborder MLLs are equally impressive and leave RCCs in the dust. Salad and soup, free booze, lots of reading material, free PCs with internet, TV lounges, showers... Glad you enjoyed your short stay at our airport and in the MLL.
