I just got an email from the Westin that there is a strike at Tremblant: This SUCKS! I have award reservations for Christmas to New Years for mself and my daughters. Here's the email:

"By the present I would like to inform you of the Employee dispute that is currently taking place on Mont Tremblant at this moment.

Consequently, there are a number of services that are not available for the duration of the dispute, such as:

There is no Maid, Valet, Concierge, Bellman and Maintenance available;
There are only 2 lifts functioning;
A few boutiques & restaurants have been closed;
Ski school is not available;
There are no Ski instructors available;
The Rental shop is closed;
The repair shop is closed.

For these reasons we are offering our guests 1 of 3 options:

To cancel your reservation without penalty and full reimbursement
To postpone your reservation to a later date after the dispute and receive a 20% discount
To maintain your reservation as is, and accept a 20 % off of your reserved package as a compensation.
