Tickets for Coldplay?

Hi everyone,

I'll be in town on May 11th and Coldplay is doing a concert at Kool Haus. My friend goes nuts over the group and really wants to hear them. Unfortunately, they "officially" sold out 5 minutes after they went on sale and she couldn't get them.

Anyone know how I might easily acquire a pair of tickets for this concert?

Thanks,
FF

I tried to get tickets this morning online and they sold out in about 10 seconds. Unless you know someone in the industry, who might have got tickets, the only other way is paying over $600 a pair on ebay. There are no cheap routes for tickets for this one.

hotel concierge?

Do you think a hotel concierge or platinum guest services member could help out? Would it be worthwhile to check into a hotel on that day?

If you are really into this you can try some ticket brokers (Google "ticket brokers toronto") and you should be able to get tickets, they will be well above face value, the range seems to be from $275 to over $600 each ticket, this is a general admission show.

All a hotel concierge would be able to do (if anything) is get you broker tickets so expect to pay the same, plus tips, plus the hotel, no deal there.

Watch the ticket brokers and ebay as the show gets closer, the price MAY drop (or it may not) and you can always risk it with scalpers on the night of the show.

Sometimes, and this is VERY rare for something this popular, the promoter and record company may not use all their allocated tickets and they will release them for sale very close to the show time so if all else fails watch tickemaster or go to the club early on the day of the show, you may get lucky, just don't count on it.
