Road to 2010

As the olympics near, further talk has been discussed of Vancouver as a growing international gateway not just to Canada, but North America. As we get closer to the olympics, what kinds of new international routes and/or airlines are expected as travel demand increases at yvr.

There has been reports that AC plans to launch YVR-CAN. I would suspect as 2010 nears, there would be extra flights being routed for YVR to meet the extra demand. But by how much?

Hasn't there been talk of laying down a third runway at YVR?

Well, you've got to expect more direct flights to & from a few locations in China with the Canada getting Approved Destination status recently. It sounds like Harmony wants to fly there and/or code-share with someone.
