T3 Transborder
Anything to eat/see after US Pre-Clearance at terminal 3? What about the view from the satellite terminal? I've been to the satellite when Tango was there, but that was on the domestic side, and there wasn't much there.

Yea, I know.. but I figured I'd try to keep on topic. And I'm really more interested about T3 where Delta Connection flies from. I guess I could take my pictures/get food in the main T3 area before I take the shuttle bus over to the satellite...

There's a bad deli/donut shop just after security, as well as a "bar" down near the end of the terminal (sometimes it's open, other times not).
Pretty bland selection, IMHO.
If you're flying AA, there's an Admiral's Club just to the right of the security checkpoints.

Is there any update on the state of affairs transborder in T3? Am looking at a 5hr flight with NO CATERING (!), and given what's been said so far, i'm thinking we check in then go to the Sheraton for some food before going through INS etc.
Also, any ideas what queues will be like for a 9pm departure on a Monday night?
TIA,
Tony

Swiss Tony, I hate to tell you that there is very little for food in T3. Even worse is that the USA Customs officers MAY make you toss your food into the trash. What I would suggest is that you buy food before you hit the immigration lines, put it in your carry on, declare that you are carrying what you have, and chance it that they don't throw your food out.
9 pm on a Monday through T3 should be a breeze. Enjoy your flight!
