Diner Steakhouse - The Tulip
Hello All,
Taking the sharing cue from Sweet Willie...n.b Toronto is my home town...

Folks, this is a great diner where they are famous for steaks and breakfasts! It is not in the downtown proper but in a downtown neighbourhood, Beaches. It is probably an easy/cheap cab ride from the downtown core in YYZ.
They just recently moved in to new digs (4 years ago?) and were in their old spot for 20 years or something like that. They moved next door. It is spotless and clean and even nice in a way now. Good ole fashioned diner in new digs with the de rigeur staff.
It is all good from about 30-40 visits. I persoanlly prefer the steak and eggs. The daily specials are also very good if you like that particular dish. The coconut cream pie is a recommend from my friends and wife, but I find the coconut bottom a little gelatiny/jello.
Good eating.
