Planning a Vaccation Trip

I’m planning a short international trip this Christmas vacation and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for destinations that are perfect for a festive, refreshing break? I’m looking for somewhere with a mix of culture, holiday charm, relaxation, and great food. I can explore over a long weekend. What are your favourite travel spots for a quick escape during the holiday season? Any hidden gems?

If you you dress appropriately (i.e. wrap up warm with lots of layers), Quebec City is fantastic around the holiday period.
