Pets in Cabin - Transborder- and custom control regulations in both directions

my daughter has a small dog which would be allowed in the cabin of the AC plane.
Plans to fly between YYZ and MCO (Orlando) in both directions- next week.
What are the US CBP and Canada CBSA regulations for the dog crossing from Canada into USA and then back, respectively?

Next week? I'd suggest they look up the requirements... "ISO comptible chip" and Rabies vaccination certificate SEEM to be required on a quick reading...
