US Citizen traveling to Canada passport validity

US Citizen traveling to Canada passport validity
Guys - it's amazing how some government websites don't clearly state how many months validity required on a passport to enter. Does anybody know? I'm planning a trip to Canada but only have 3 months left on my US passport

Your passport must be valid for the period you intend to be in Canada. In other words leave Canada before your passport expires.
