Question Help...ArriveCan after cancelled flight

Heading to Canada later today. ArriveCAN app was successfully completed for original flight (within 72 hours). Our flight was cancelled and now we will arrive into Toronto after the 72 hour window. Do we need to redo everything or will our QR code still work?

They dont care. Leave it alone. I've arrived late many times driving and flying and at different ports of entry. They never mention it.

We just vaccinated our 12 year-old, who just had Covid, because of the rules. Are you saying YYZ isn't seriously looking at ArriveCAN and vaccination status?

You can just fill it out again for your new flight arrival. There's nothing to do to cancel the old one.

FYI, no one checked it in Calgary airport last week, only the Delta agent in Atlanta that issued our boarding passes. And it was a glance to see a barcode, did not check the date or anything.

Yes, they are. Its mostly done automatically, though, so dont expect the person at the border to mention much about it.

I always assumed when they scan your passport it showed your arrivecan status on their screen.

This advice is dead wrong.
My travel plans changed and I was req'd to apply again (as zkzkz correctly states).

I drive back and forth every few weeks. I never know which port of entry I will use or my timing. To date, Ive never once redone my arrivecan. No one has ever said anything. YMMV.

I think the original question was about arriving after the 72 hour window. I believe it expires after 72 hours so you would need to do everything again. If you are within the 72 hours, I do not think they care too much if the details are wrong about the time and place of arrival.

Mine have all been after 72 hours. No one has ever said a word. YMMV.
