How early to get to YYZ
Hi!
i am looking at booking a 9am flight to Calgary with WestJet, on Dec 23. Given the pre-Christmas rush, how early should we aim to be at the airport?
At this stage I was thinking of taking the 6 or 6:15 UPExpress. We’ll have two bags to check and two young kids to drag 😉

I think you'd be safe taking the 6:00 am UPExpress. Keep in mind that you'll arrive at Terminal 1, then need to switch to the link train to get you to Terminal 3. You'll probably arrive at the WestJet counters by about 6:45 am at the latest. Do your checkin online the day before, then all you have to do is get your baggage tags, drop them off, and then go through security. I would say that 2 hours and 15 minutes would be sufficient time to accomplish this for a domestic flight on a busy travel day.
