As per the subject you can now UberX from YYZ without trekking out to the Alt Hotel or similar.

Thought it worth a new thread over adding into one of a few past threads. Shout out to canadiancow for
first flagging it on his EYW report.

I used this yesterday at T3 (well, Lyft, as they have coupons on airport rides right now). Directions to the Ride Share area was clearly signed. It's outside Door D. There's three zones (1, 2 and 3) and you stand by the one you've provided to the app.
It was very quiet there as not many people were using it, which was a welcome break as YYZ is normally heaving.

Perhaps we can collect data points on time/day, destination and cost for reference to compare with other services to make this thread really useful?

For those in Terminal One Uber picks up downstairs from the arrivals level--door "Q" on the ground level. I paid about $30 on a Sunfay night at 11pm to go to just south of Hurontario and the QEW in Mississauga.
I actually found going to the parkade for pickup in the past about just as easy as there were always cars available in less than a minute and you never has to worry about trying to find your car when the driver can't get close to the pickup door due to congestion.
