Fokker Graveyard at YXE

I flew into and out of YXE this week. I noticed that there are about 19 Canadian Regional Fokkers parked at the east end of runway 27. 11 are parked next to a hanger and the rest are on the grass. Since the CP/AC merger was a long time ago, it was strange to see them parked there.

Also cool to see how closely they are parked together: https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Sas...a=!3m2!1e3!4b1

I mean, just parallel parking my car makes me nervous...

They're for sale. (Parts or whole) if you want one.

Looks like you can even put it on your credit card.

If you zoom out just a bit you can see what looks like two Cargojet aircraft facing opposite directions parked on top of each other! (Presumably a time delay between two snaps).

As this is far more a general interest Canada topic than one that directly relates to Air Canada or Aeroplan it's been moved to the Canada forum for more discussion.
