Toronto Priority Pass for Air Canada flights

I'm not sure where to post this..

I have priority pass. I'm flying PE from YYZ to MUC on LH 495 on Friday the 19th. I get into ATH

I get into YYZ from BNA on AC at noon and don't leave until 8. I booked two separate flights so I need to go through customs, get my bag and check-in with LH. I'm flying out of T1.

What's the best way to spend that time? I think that I might only have access to Plaza Premium at E77 but I'm not sure.

I don't think it matters but I'm a silver on UA.

I don't drink if that matters!

Thanks!
Justin

UA Silver won't get you in to a lounge, but your priority pass will (though there may be a charge depending on which version of the pass you have). In theory there is a 3 hour limit in the lounge, but I've never seen it enforced. With 8 hours you could always take the UP train downtown for an early dinner and make it back with plenty of time.

Depending on the agent in BNA you may be able to get them to through check your bags since it's *A to *A even on separate itineraries

Agent *should* check through. Does not necessarily mean he will, admittedly.

MUN = Maturin, VE. I don't think LH or AC flies there, especially not nonstop from Canada with a PE cabin. Please don't check your bags for this place if you're really heading to Munich = MUC.

Oops! Yes MUC. Thanks! I edited the post.

And good to know about checking bags in BNA!

If you are flying on Air Canada you can use PP lounges so why not inquire about what's available? As OP said, where else would he put it.

Here? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/canada-462/

Anyway I don't know if they have finished with the renovation at PP Lounge T1 international. Last month, the temporary "lounge" was a cordoned off gate area (E81) with paper cups and plates, no power plug-in. One had to use the general public washroom. At least they brought the upholstered chairs from the lounge.

Looks like it's still in progress https://www.torontopearson.com/while...e/ourlounges/#

There's a published time limit for the PPL? What if your flight gets delayed by IRROPS?

If you want to make better use of that time rather than sitting in a lounge, you can get downtown to Union Station in 25 minutes. Within a 10 minute walk of Union is the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Steam Whistle Brewery, countless restaurants, and the harbourfront.

Make use of the layover and come check out the city.

While I appreciate OP is flying AC as their query is non-AC specific I've relocated it to the Canada forum for further discussion.

I may be wrong! I've looked through the Priority Pass and Plaza Premium lounge websites and can't seem to find it mentioned, but I seem to remember seeing a sign on a recent visit. The price for Plaza Premium is different based on the number of hours you want (I tried a dummy booking).
