One stop security YYZ

Perhaps I missed another thread on this but I transferred US to Domestic today at YYZ without clearing security. Basically they took us through CBSA at the gate that normally allows you to the international area. We then went downstairs and took a bus over to the D gates. A little cumbersome but was very relaxed.

As this is a Canada topic it's been moved to the Canada forum for further discussion on this matter which has come up in the past:

Finally!

I'll be able to test if the Intl-Dom version of OSS is operational on Saturday.

Just a caveat, I did very briefly ask the person checking boarding passes and they said that they were trying it out. The way it works right now with buses and only 2 CBSA counters (no nexus kiosks) it doesnt seem sustainable for large aircraft.

Just my 2 cents

Is this formally in place now? Just went through US preclearance and after I went down the stairs, I saw that the Connections desk at YYZ was to the right. I remember it being the left two lanes next to NEXUS...
