First time to Canada
Hi. I need help with an initerary. This trip is for 2 young people.
Lax - JFK (spend 3 full days)
JFK - Washington DC (by Amtrak and spend 2 full days)
Washington DC - BUF or YYZ (spend 2.5 days) we'd like to visit Niagra Fall and Toronto city. What are the interesting places? (We're interested in museums, historical places, food) Or should I skip Toronto? Spend 2d1n in Niagrafall and give NY or DC an extra day to stay? Thank you

Never been to Buffalo, but understand it's just an industrial city, so I would skip that. Niagara Falls, well, once you've seen the falls, there's not much there.
Toronto, OTOH, yes, could easily spend a couple of days there. At least I could

If you like to drink and visit wineries, Niagara on the Lake is a short drive away. ANd you can sample the wines, including ice wines.
The drive from Niagara Falls from NOTL is quite nice and there are stuff along the way if you wish to stop. Near the Falls, aside from the falls itself, there are casinos and a very "Vegas like" strip. Mostly cater to younger kids.
Toronto ..depends what you like to do. You can visit the different ethnic neighbourhoods, try the different foods. Catch a baseball game, go outside and walk around the CN Tower http://www.edgewalkcntower.ca/ Make sure you have diapers on

Niagara on the Lake is an awesome little town, you can walk the main street, enjoy a bite to eat and enjoy the shops.
If you can drive from BUF, you can hit Niagara on the Lake then make your way to Toronto. Its just over an hours drive with no traffic. I would skip Niagara Falls if you have no indention of hitting a casino or a show.
Toronto has a lot to offer - CN Tower, a baseball game at the SkyDome(no,I will not call it the rogers center), museums, lots of historical buildings, shopping centers and LOTS of places to eat. All of it is very accessible via public transit and walking.
