Current Vancouver Weather

Is it really as bad as my weather apps are telling me? Cloudy and raining most days. Heading over there in a week and trying to work out what to pack clothes wise.

Not really that bad, Vancouver-wise. It's showery rather than steady rain - you'll need a jacket preferably with a hood - otherwise normal cool summer gear. It's not Florida or California!

It's been pretty mixed of the last few weeks but overall, we're starting to see nicer weather. Generally, on nice days, it warms up very nicely. However, there's been the odd few days of showers with some short downpours.

This weekend was beautiful. We walked down to a car-free day festival in shorts and t-shirt and I was starting to sweat a bit walking/standing in the sun.
With respect to the showers, I watch the forecasts for rain to see if my softball games are going to be cancelled. We been getting some showers though it's mainly light with the odd downpour: there was a downpour last early Sunday morning before it turned into a beautiful day and before a midweek game it poured in the early afternoon before clearing up again into a beautiful evening.

I'd bring mainly clothing for warm days but something to protect you from light rain (rainjacket, umbrella) and maybe something to layer on when it gets cooler at night or windy.

June is traditionally "mixed." Today started with clouds, rained for a bit, then turned sunny.
