Quebec City in April
Is the weather in Quebec City likely to be appreciably warmer/better in late April than in early April? (I am looking at two possible weekends).

All answers regarding weather in Canada have the caveat that every year is different and the weather is massively unpredictable.
Generally, I would say yes there will be a significant difference near the end of April. This is the "warm up" from winter time where there will be a difference of up to about 10C from the beginning of April compared with the end.
There is a risk is might be more rainy but it's hard to say.

Quick reply: go at the end of April. The weather in Quebec city is quite hard to predict at the beginning of April... I'm always there for work between April 5-15 and year after year, it's been either the last snowstorm of the year or icy rain.

The further away from Winter the better so likely end of April as Easter snow storms still possible. Quebec City weather is much like northern Maine or northern Ontario that time of year.
