Meeting point at YYZ

Apologies for being OT, but I figured that nobody knows YYZ as the folk chatting here. In about week I am landing in YYZ with my wife, on two different connections. We are supposed to meet in the terminal. First my wife lands on LH from Düsseldorf, and then I come few hours later, on LO from Warsaw.

Will we arrive in the same terminal? is this a good idea to agree that we meet by the arrivals exit when LO lands? or will there be more than one arrival area/exit? any other good suggestion for a meeting place?

We fly Y and My wife has no status, so arrival lounges, if YYZ has such, are out of question. Thanks for helping?

Same terminal (Terminal 1), one arrival area. Lots of places to meet. The Tim Hortons at one end is a nice landmark, with addictive coffee. There are also places to sit/eat/drink basically across from the arrival doors. Free WIFI as well.

Since you wife lands first, she may as well grab her bags and exit the baggage hall. As she exits the double sliding doors there will be a cafe directly ahead. (She'll have to exit left or right after the last door but the cafe is quite visible straight ahead.)

The cafe can be a bit crowded at times so alternatively if you exit right and walk just past the dinosaur there are usually some free seats there. Also in that direction are washrooms, a drinking fountain and a small convenience store.

A third alternative is to take the (free) train to Terminal 3 which is connected to a Sheraton where you'll find a more comfortable bar and I believe a full-service restaurant as well. The train is upstairs in the Arrivals level.

Monorail train to T3 and meet at Sheraton lobby is the most comfortable solution for you depending on your and her luggage.
There is only one official international arrival exit at YYZ T1 but it can get very crowded depending on time of day and there is no comfortable place to sit and wait. Benefit of this alternative is she will see your flight status on the arrival board.

Tim Horton is also a good suggestion but less comfortable. It is a location that everyone, I mean everyone working at the airport know where it is.
