Miramichi - Looking for advice

Just found out that I've got to go on a two week long business trip out to Miramichi NB in May and know nothing about the place. I've got all kinds of questions and I'm hoping that the forum could offer some advice:

- Is it better to fly to YQM or YFC or ZBF?
- Any suggestions on decent places to stay?
- Any recommendations on restaurants, nearby attractions, etc?

YQM Much better choice of flights: AC, WestJet, Porter & United..about a 1 hr 20 min. drive

ZBF If the flights works for you, its fine. About 1 hour away.

YFC About 2 hours away but the drive along the river..very nice.

Place to stay: Rodd Miramichi River Resort with a nice restaurant. The Miramichi is a famous salmon river.so salmon is a speciality.

May is just the start of the tourist season so not much open yet.
Kouchibouguac National Park is about 30 min away. Hiking trails and miles of sand dunesbut no swimming in May! ..Wait till August and you will find some of the warmest salt-water beaches north of Virginia here.

Historic Note: Theres an airport at Miramichi: YCH that once had Canadian Airlines 737 service. Flight did a Loop: YUL-YCL (Charlo/Campbellton)-YCH-YUL
