Thanks. Both flights are on AC and I believe they are all in T1. Looks like I can avoid CBSA on the return according to the YYZ website. So my main question is if I can speed through US pre-clearance using the NEXUS line with the CBP sticker on my passport, even though I'm only GE and not NEXUS, and it seems like the answer is yes.

I didn't realize I need to go through CBSA if I'm just transiting, but I assume that will be fast anyway so no need to even try to get into a faster line with my CBP sticker.

Yep, on the return, you'll be able to bypass CBSA all together and go straight to the CBP preclearance area. You should most likely be able to speed up processing by using the crew line. However, don't tell the little greeter at the door that. They will tell you to join everybody in the main line (because they only know of NEXUS). Go directly to the crew desk and tell the officer. Once you land in Canada on your outbound flight, just go to Customs B (with CBSA).. You do not need to claim your bag, and it's a basic passport check to make sure your admissible to Canada. Shouldn't take more than a minute.

Global Entry Kiosk YYZ

Has anyone seen and USED the Global Entry Kiosks at YYZ????

alexb133 Sep 12, 2011 12:16 pm

Are the GE kiosks out yet?

Two weeks ago when I flew to MIA, there were only Nexus kiosks.

Global Entry Kiosk Now Available at YYZ Terminal 1

Flew out of YYZ, Terminal 1 on Continental today. Hidden next to the Nexus Kiosks was a single Global Entry Kiosk. Broke out of the rat maze, hurried over and used it. Great time saver. A sign would have been nice but at least there is a Global Entry station there now.

Many thanks, welitzer... lets hope they are also set up and operating when you connect from international origin via YYZ to USA in the connection room in Terminal 1.

Does anyone know if there is a Global Entry kiosk in Terminal 3?

There is one between 2 NEXUS machines in US Preclearance.

I found that out tonight. Actually, both the NEXUS kiosks were inoperable, so there was a bit of a line for the Global Entry kiosk.

Opposite last night en route from PEK-YYZ-DCA. NEXUS worked but GE was kaput! Thankfully, the immigration agent put a sign on the inoperable machine so as to notify others, and then checked-in the guy ahead of me and myself without having to resort to the very long line.

So is there a Global Entry at YYZ?

Flying back YUL-YYZ-MSP on Air Canada, so I hope I can use GE (don't have Nexus yet) on return.

Can anyone confirm where they are located and what line you use?

globalentry.gov say they are there, just wondering where and how.

Sorry to bump this thread.. flying JFK-YYZ-JFK next week. Been a few years since traveling international and first time with GE, so want to be extra clear:

JFK-YYZ: Arrive in Toronto, go through Customs for a passport check, and you're good to go

YYZ-JFK: At the airport, head to pre-clearance. Take the crew lane, show CBP sticker on passport, go to GE machines?

At YYZ now. 1 GE kiosk for terminal 1. Only 1 NEXUS kiosk was in operation.

There's a NEXUS security line as well.. I didn't know if I could use that, but found the AMEX security line which was nice...

YYZ is a very easy airport, at least if you have an Amex plat...

GOES at YYZ

Just went through customs coming into US at terminal 1. There is a special GOES entry door to the customs hall, just to the left of the main entry door. There are 5 or 6 GOES machines on the LHS of the hall, right beside a number of Nexus machines. Some of the GOES machines were out of order, but at least two were working. You take your receipt from the machine and proceed right to the exit of the customs hall, where a customs agent takes your receipt and then asks to see your boarding pass.

I assume you mean global entry kiosk? GOES is the website application.

Yes, kiosks. Thanks for clarifying.
