YUL & YTZ connection time info request
I wish to consider a connection through either Montreal or Toronto. I will be coming in from YYG (Charlottetown, PEI), and looking to make a connection to a US hub (PHL, LGA, DCA or EWR). I will be on a UK passport, no US visa, ESTA up to date, no Global entry. Hand luggage only.
What minimum would you seasoned travellers suggest?
Thanks in anticipation.

I think you mean YUL and YYZ
YUL is slightly easier, in my opinion. Unless you are arriving at 7am on a Monday morning, or a heavy holiday travel day (March break), 60-90 mins is enough time at either airport.
You can search "minimum connection time" and the airport code, or look here: http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelin...tiontimes.html

I suggest you go the AC route from YYG-YUL-(your US destination).
Also you can try YYZ (not YTZ). In any event you should plan at least a two hour connection at YYZ without NEXUS. YUL tends to be a little bit less busy, so as 13F said, 90 minutes should be plenty.
I suggest against YTZ. As your not traveling on a Canadian passport, lines in the US for inspection are much longer, and they tend to ask you more questions than they do at pre-clearance inspections.

YTZ doesn't have pre-clearance, at least when I flew to EWR. I will be flying international to YUL and connecting to YTZ so I will let know how it goes.
