Moving to Ottawa
Moing from the West to the EAST!
Help me out please, where are the places not to live in the Ottawa area
Car insurance, who's the best in Ontario and who should I not call
Cable/cell/phone is it Rogers or Bell
Going out in early June for a house hunting trip? Where are the good places to live? I do have a family, so schools and parks are important?
Any help would be great. Thanks

A bit more information might help. Where will you be working? Will your S/O be working, and where? Do you want an inner city 33 ft lot close to services, or would you like to be in the countryside with lots of land. Any issues using public transit?
What ages are the kids? Do they go to school in English? in French? in French Immersion? Catholic or public schools? (As you can imagine, the school situation in Ontario is not straight-forward.)
The Ottawa Citizen publishes the school rankings once per year. You may need to be a subscriber to access the full article. It may be broken down by primary/middle/secondary school.
Feel free to send a PM. I'm on the road currently (big surprise for an FTer)... replies may be delayed.
