Are any members of this forum timeshare or travel club members of Chateau World in Canmore Alberta? (Many of these also became RCI members)

It has come to the attention of many Chateau World members in Alberta that the two properties being marketed for the Chateau World club (which we now understand is unlicensed) are being foreclosed on. RCI has placed a "block" on all RCI members from Chateau World.

Members who's home resort was Chateau Canmore were sent notices several months back stating that their memberships were being "upgraded" to the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge and Spa. The problem of course is that more than just a letter is required for such a shift and no legal documents were exicuted to affect the change.

Since that time, information has surfaced that shows that Chateau Canmore, and the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge are being foreclosed on. The Director of the whole shebang (Andre Muran) has previously been criminally charged for misleading consumers and other breaches to the Fair Trading Act of Alberta.
