SAN Security...and Parking
Flying SAN soon...haven't flown in and out of there in several years since I usually use SNA and LAX. Major question is how much time to expect for security...is it long LAX lines or shorter SNA lines? Also, any ideas on reasonably priced parking nearby? Thanks in advance...

I always just use the airports long term parking. Sanpark on Pacific Highway is $10 a day and they are about as good as any of the private lots I have tried. Just exit 5 at the Sassafras st. exit and it is the end of Sassafras st. For public airport parking they run a pretty professional operation.

Park Shuttle and Fly is right by terminal 2, and you can reserve a spot, print the coupon and stay for $9 per day.

Hawaiian is in terminal 2, I have seen some long lines there in the past, but an AA flyer will have to update you on the current status. I fly only out of terminal 1 and the commuter terminal. The TSA site is showing about 10-15 minutes in T2 on average.
