At the median or in the terminal you can buy the $2 tix from the small vending machines. You will have to buy one $2 ticket at a time though; you cannot tell it you want to buy 4 all at once.

After you ride AirBART to the Coliseum BART station, you will purchase a ticket of at least $5.70 (the one-way fare from Coliseum or Embarcadero) for each person. You could buy a $11.40 ticket so you already have your return purchased. My understanding is that you have to buy at least a $20 ticket in order to use a credit card, so you need to bring cash for this.

No, no, no. You want BART trains going in the direction of Daly City or SFO. You are looking at the correct line on the map, but trains going to Fremont or Dublin are going away from Downtown. The trains going through downtown will have end stations of Daly City or SFO listed.

These trains will be on the tracks on the side furthest from the Coliseum. If you take any train on that side of the platform (except for Richmond-bound trains) you will get to Embarcadero.
