LAX T6-T7 connection
Subject says it all. Are they still connected? I know that the T4 has been isolated since 9/11 
I'm flying out on UA to SJC (presume from bus from T7) and want to bring a friend into the RCC. He is flying CO to CLE (presume from T6).

Yes, terminal six through eight are still connected, so you do not have to leave the secured area.
