recommendations for Chico, CA?

I'm going to be in Chico, CA on business for one day next week. Any suggestions on where to eat dinner?

I hope I'm not too late in responding! I only just noticed this thread.

There are two places I can recommend off the top of my head. The Sierra Nevada Brewery is pretty cool, especially if you're into their beer. But it's a little ways removed from downtown Chico, California; you'd have to drive. I also like Tres Hombres in downtown Chico for some pretty decent Mexican.

I know that there are a couple of other decent restaurants in downtown Chico, but their names escape me at the moment.

I will second the Sierra Nevada Brewery recommendation. Really great food, and definitely try the beer sampler.
Also the restaurant is great too in that the left-overs from the brewing process go into the feed for the cows that become the steaks. Very eco-conscious and cool.

I'm not even going to ask where the sewer pipes from the restrooms go!

To the OP: It's Chico, don't expect cuisine miracles.
