Adjustable ticket?
Hey All,
I was planning on going to Thailand from the middle of December to the end of March. But then it dawned on me - what if I don't like it there? I was going to skip Winter quarter at college, but now I'm thinking that I can go to Thailand during Winter break, Dec. 11-Jan 3, and if I like it, I'll skip Winter quarter, but if not, I'll come back and go to school.
What are my options for an airline ticket that can be changed? Either I'll come back the beginning of January, or the end of March.
Also, what are your recommendations for where to buy the ticket? This trip is very much on a budget. I've found cheaper flights on kayak . com, but the cheapest I've found has been on asaptickets . com.
I appreciate any and all advice. I've never bought an airline ticket before. Please help the newb.
Thanks,
Steve

Well, almost anything is possible with a change fee. You might also be able to find an open-return ticket that won't force you to specify your return date until you're ready. These can be more expensive, though, so it's hard to decide which is the better route
