London\Milano\Tel Aviv
Hi guys,
Need your help...
My friend is in London, traveled with British (business trip), I would like to drag him for a short vacation and therefore need him in Milan (MXP).
I was considering 1 of the following options:
1. London -> Milan -> TLV, but then he has to pay full price Milan -> TLV, El-Al charging a return ticket price.
2. London -> Milan -> London -> TLV, then I need to find some kind of a really cheap flight that would arrive back in London to Heathrow, otherwise he will need to transfer, as the flight back to TLV is from Heathrow.
The matter is quite urgent, we are talking about 15th afternoon and back on the 21st.
Any advice would be highly appreciated...

Try playing around with http://www.skyscanner.net or http://www.dohop.com/ for cheap flights with LON-MIL return or LON-MIL/MIL-TLV one way. Might not help at such short notice though.
PS Playing around a bit, you might be able to swing LON-MIL-LON for £125-175ish
PPS You could look at the practicality of trains as an alternative: http://www.seat61.com/Italy.htm

Have you considered LCC such as Easyjet, Ryanair etc?
Or you could arrange a flight LHR to BSLor ZRH (with BA if that will give you a discount or the possibility to use miles) and then take the train to Milan Central .. approx 6 hours through some of the loveliest alpine scenery.
