I travel every month from SIN-DPS. Even though I run my own company - ie my cost - I've always avoided Tiger after a dreadful experience when they first launched. I'd normally choose other carriers at 150-200+ SGD more than Tiger, until today.
I went for Tiger at 200 SGD cheaper than the next lowest and then opted for the TigerPlus at 48 SGD. I'm impressed so far. The priority check-in, not something I was ever much fussed about, save me literally 30-45 minutes of waiting. The lounge access, SATS Access, is a real bonus - hot meals, cold drinks, fast internet, etc. I bought an upfront seat for 8SGD and with TigerPlus can board when I choose.
Good on you Tiger! For 48+8SGD all of the headaches of flying Tiger were removed, and still much cheaper than KLM, SG, Qatar.
