Flights from Chennai,India to Regina, Canada and Regina to Chennai

Hi
I'm new to the forum, based out of Regina, SK Canada and I would appreciate help with the following.

1) Looking to book 2 round trip tickets from Chennai India to Regina and back to Chennai for my parents for end of January 2012.
2) Looking to book 4 tickets from Regina to India and back to Regina for my family of 4.

I would appreciate any help in selecting the right agencies in getting economical prices. Thanks in advance.

You'll tend to do your best booking yourself directly with the airlines. It will likely be very difficult to get low fares for the end of January this late, however.

My strategies:

- Check Expedia (http://www.expedia.ca) to see who is cheapest, then I typically go to the airline's site directly and book it myself, if I can:

Air Canada http://www.aircanada.ca
Delta http://www.delta.com
United http://www.united.ca
Continental's fares should be the same as United's, but sometimes aren't: http://www.continental.com
American now codeshares with WestJet, so they might be an option: http://www.aa.com

Good luck!

For the sites that use IATA airport codes, Regina's is YQR and Chennai's is MAA.

Routing via the US is probably a poor idea as it's almost certain OP's parents will require visas for the US.

I would have thought the best option - especially this late - would be Air India via Delhi / Toronto but that would require a transfer to Air Canada that might require your parents to collect & recollect luggage.

An option that would avoid this would be Lufthansa / Air Canada via Frankfurt / Toronto - but is likely to be expensive
