Can I carry two private Insurance at same time.
I have done extensive research and do not feel safe with Visa or my current insurance covering. Most insurance does not cover "Diminished Value" plus the rental agency will not supply them records proving loss of use.
With that being said I still dont like their outrageous insurance prices, approx $200 extra on a one week rental.
Metlife is one of the rare private ins companies that does cover diminished value on rental vehicles.
I am thinking of keeping my reg ins. (Gieco) but picking up Metlife for a month ($86). Anything wrong with having two insurance companies as long as I only place any claims with one and dont try to double collect at that is obviously illegal?
