Why is Budget's website so bad?
Never rented with Budget before.
Today I found a great deal for an upcoming IAH trip, which with the Mastercard promo works out to only $85 with tax for a 4 day rental.
So I decide to sign up for Fastbreak to make things easier when I get to IAH. But if I try to make the reservation while logged into Fastbreak, I can't use the Mastercard BCD. What kind of garbage is that?
So I log out of Fastbreak and make the reservation, but there's no way to add my Fastbreak number, or my AA Frequent Flyer number.
So I call Budget and the rep says she can add my fastbreak number. After mumbling about the Mastercard promo not working, then working, then not working, then finally figuring out that the 20% off part of the promo applies but not the upgrade, she says she's got it all set. I now have my reservation with the Mastercard discount (but not upgrade) and with my fastbreak number associated.
So I go to look at the reservation online, and don't see anything about Fastbreak, but at least the MC promo is still applied to it and it's still showing the same price.
What's up with this? Is Budget's website really this bad? I thought Hertz's site was hard to use, but this is absurd.

Yea, I remember the last time we got "Enhanced" by Budget. It cost us half point earnings and more points for redemptions. Stick a fork in them, they are done.
