o/w rentals

Planning to drive from LAX to SFO on one-way rental. Budget website is quoting a rate of $65. Are there any codes that will lower this rate?

Are there any other car rental agencies that doesn't charge drop-off fee?

thanks!

AFAIK, Avis sometimes offers no drop-off fee for one-way rentals. Be careful, however, because they sometimes charge you mileage for such rentals.

i just talked to budget about this and was told that if i picked up and returned the vehicle to a budget "corporate" location, then there wouldn't be any additional fees. but if i return it to a "franchise," then i'll get hit with a return fee. and i was told that basically, all airport locations are corporate, so you should be fine if picking up at LAX and returning at SFO.
