Budget Beef
Anyone have a beef with Budget for quietly eliminated skis and the motorhome rental rewards from their perfect drive program?
I think they double crossed us. When I finally had enough points to get the skis they told me "sorry" Charlie.
Hertz did this last year too. Hmmmm, maybe they traded executives.

I hadn't noticed the removal of some of the PerfectDrive items. I hope the golf equipment isn't getting trimmed back...I'm probably going to try and land a new set of irons within the next six months or so.
Hertz' points program is not near as rewarding as Budget's. Now that Hertz has gone to double points (but no 20% discount), the programs are close to in-line for free rental days, but that's it.
I have a few other beefs about the Hertz program, but I'll save 'em for that board...

I'm miffed that they pulled what was the greatest car rental award out there - they briefly offered 50% less points for award rentals at off-airport locations. Since most of my freebie rentals are off-airport, this was amazing.
